Abstract: Based on data obtained from regional geochemical prospecting in Fujian Province, the present paper discusses sampling density in 1:50,000 regional geochemical survey, and compare geochemical anomalies and economic benefits produced by different sampling densities. It is considered that in 1: 50,000 re gional geochemical prospecting within Fujian Province, the sampling density of 1-2 point/km² seems to be most effective, svhich can lead to both good results and high efficiency.
