Abstract: Based on distribution and association of trace elements in various sorts of media related to the Caijiaying leAd-zinc-silver deposit, the present paper has determined the indicator elements for this deposit and described characteristics of primary anomalies as well as regularity of their zoning in the deposit. In combination with geological characteristics of the ore deposit, the authors established its geochemical primary anomaly pattern, which has yielded fairly obvious results in the prospecting for blind deposits.
