Abstract:
The transient state characteristics of the electronic conductor are closely related to the properties of the electronic conductor. The observational parameter of the differential induced polarization method, namely the IPdifference △P, can reflect such characteristics.Using the theory of polarization transient state characteristics, the present paper makes a preliminary interpretation on the phenomenon that the basic shapes of IPdifference △P anomalies on three sorts of models (graphite plate, copper plate and iron plate)are different from each other. It is pointed out that on the basis of the basic shapes of IPdifference △P anomalies, one may distinguish anode-insoluble, weakly irreversible and strongly irreversible ore-wall rock solution systems and can eliminate interference of carbon matters. Field test results and application examples are also given in this paper. Information reflected by characteristics of polarization transient state is very abundant, and hence further research can help to distinguish IPanomalies and differentiate properties of field sources.
